To begin with, neither of us has ever really made much of a habit of celebrating St Patrick's Day other than, perhaps, wearing green. But as it stands, London - to no one's great surprise - is home to more than its share of Irish people. And so we figured that if we were ever going to celebrate properly, it ought to be here.
On the Sunday, the various Irish community centres and cultural groups around London organized a big festival at Trafalgar Square and a parade through central London. We popped down to soak it all in and maybe experience some great craic.
